As an ENL teacher I have a strong personal connection with Culturally Responsive Pedagogy (CRP). My project will be the meaning, importance and purpose of CRP and also I will have CRP based learning strategies to help ENL teachers and all teachers in their classrooms. Being culturally aware and responsive is one of many necessary components of being an effective teacher. We must reach and connect our students on a personal level. It is imperative to teach from the students and not at them.
